1. Canton Fair 2026: Dates, Phases and Venue

The 140th Canton Fair will be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The Autumn Fair will be divided into three phases, with different product categories displayed during each phase.

Phase 1: October 15–19, 2026

Phase 1 covers Electronics & Household Electrical Appliances, Industrial Manufacturing, New Energy Vehicles and Smart Mobility, Vehicles & Two Wheels, New Energy Resources, Hardware, Tools, Machinery and other categories.

Phase 2: October 23–27, 2026

Phase 2 focuses on Household Items, Kitchenware, Ceramics, Household Decorations, Building and Decorative Materials, Gifts and other related products.

Phase 3: October 31–November 4, 2026

Phase 3 focuses on Textiles & Garments, Shoes, Office and School Supplies, Health and Leisure Products, Food and other related categories.

The daily opening hours are generally 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Buyers should allow enough time for security checks, walking between halls and meetings.

2. Guangzhou Weather During the Canton Fair

Guangzhou is generally warm in October. Historical climate data shows daytime temperatures are usually in the high 20s Celsius, while evenings are more comfortable. Occasional rain is still possible.

Lightweight and breathable clothing is recommended. A shirt or polo shirt, lightweight trousers and comfortable shoes are suitable for most visitors. A light jacket and compact umbrella are also useful.

Comfortable shoes are particularly important because the exhibition complex is large and visitors may walk long distances during the day.

3. Getting to the Canton Fair

The Canton Fair Complex is easily accessible by metro. Metro Line 8 is the main line serving the exhibition area, with Xingangdong Station and Pazhou Station serving different parts of the complex.

• From Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, take Metro Line 3 and transfer to Line 8 at Kecun Station.
• From Guangzhou South Railway Station, take Metro Line 2 and transfer to Line 8 at Changgang Station.
• From Guangzhou East Railway Station, take Metro Line 3 to Kecun and transfer to Line 8.
• From Guangzhou Railway Station, take Metro Line 2 to Changgang and transfer to Line 8.

Which station should you get off at? 

When attending the Canton Fair, pay special attention to two main metro stations:

For visitors carrying large luggage or traveling in groups, taxis and ride-hailing services may be more convenient.

Before leaving, check your supplier's area, hall and booth number so you can choose the correct metro station and entrance.

4. Canton Fair Exhibition Hall Layout

The Canton Fair Complex is divided into four main areas: Area A, Area B, Area C and Area D, with multiple exhibition halls and floors.

The Phase 1 exhibition is mainly focused on advanced manufacturing, electronics, vehicles, machinery, hardware, and new energy products.

The exhibition halls are connected within the complex, but the distance between different areas can be considerable. Planning your route in advance can save time, especially if you have several supplier meetings in one day.

• Area A — Electronics, Home Appliances and Smart Mobility

Area A mainly features home appliances, consumer electronics and information products, new energy vehicles and smart mobility, construction machinery, and agricultural machinery. 

• Area B — Hardware, Tools and Vehicle Parts

Area B focuses on hardware, tools, vehicle spare parts, and machinery displayed in outdoor areas.

• Area C — Motorcycles, Bicycles, Electrical Products and New Energy

Area C is one of the key areas for buyers interested in two-wheelers and new energy products. The main categories include motorcycles, bicycles, electronic and electrical products, lighting equipment, and new energy resources.
